Half Day Noosa Everglades Guided Kayak Tour

This remarkable experience offers a chance to visit secluded locations in the heart of the Noosa Everglades by sea kayak and truly experience the natural beauty and wildlife. This tour is suitable for families with small children. Trips include professional guide, all equipment, a delicious and hearty brunch and an unforgettable experience.

Duration:  8.30 am until 1.30 pm. Guided Tours available Thursdays and Saturdays – with groups of 3 or more other days maybe arranged

Highlights: Mill Point, Kinaba Information Centre, Noosa Everglades, swim in the pristine tea coloured waters of magnificent Lake Cootharaba and the chance to experience some of Australia’s unique wildlife including the abundant birdlife of the region.
Itinerary: Meet at Elanda Point canoe launching area’s car park. On arrival you are given your equipment for the day, then down to the kayak launch site and we settle you into your kayak, teaching you all the basic skills for an enjoyable paddle across the Lake Cootharaba to Kinaba. Kinaba is an old National Park’s timber information centre built on stilts, where you can learn all about the local geography, fauna and flora. Here we continue on to Fig Tree Point for a hearty brunch and short bush walk through the forest. For the return journey, if the wind is in the right direction, we hoist our sails for a paddle/sail back across Lake Cootharaba to the tour launch site at Elanda Point

.What to Bring and Wear:
• Personal water bottle filled
• Please wear shoes that can get wet – flip flops are fine
• Sun smart clothing (Rashie & board shorts- swim wear)
• Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
• Insect Repellent
• Wind proof jacket/rain coat, warm clothing – depending on weather
• Camera, mobile phone 
• Change of clothes and shoes to return home & towel
